Communication Is The Best Strategy

27.12.2007

Did you ever think when people opt-out of your list that if you answer them they may come back? Have you ever looked at you opt out form to see if they left a comment?I have made quite a few good connections just because I looked at the opt out message, read it, and then I emailed them back a message of regret that they are leaving and gave them an answer to their problems. The best marketing strategy to use with your customers is communication.

People opt-out for many different reasons and a lot of times it’s because they don’t have a lot of money to get started with their business. I feel for these people because I have been in their shoes before and if someone didn’t step up to help me I would still be there. I know that there are thousands and thousands of internet marking beginners and not all of them have tons of money to spend.

I also know that each and every one of us have tools that we use that are free or very low cost. These are the tools that you can offer these people that don’t have the money to get started. Show them how the tools work and once they start succeeding, they will start buying from you.

Just because people opt out of your list does not make them bad, it does not mean they are not interested, it does not mean they don’t like you. When you get a opt out email, read it and see if you can help that person.

Such a person opted out of one of my lists and I sent him an email telling him I hated to see him go. His problem was he couldn’t afford to spend a lot of money on products listed in my newsletter. So, I told him in the email, that yes some tools do cost money but I also recommend free resources in my newsletter. He now wants to opt back in. Just this little deed will make him a life long client of mine and he will probably tell his friends about me.

So, how much money are you leaving on the table? What kind of a relationship are you building with your list members? Are you only bombarding them with products to buy?

Get wise and start communicating with them. Any one that has any experience at all has the ability to help those less fortunate. Build trust with them and you will be building a life long relationship. When you give a little bit of yourself you will get a lot in return.

No, we don’t work for free but we did need someone to help us when we got started. Thank goodness there were those who were willing to communicate and help the people on their list. So get up and take action on your business.

Why do you think so many of our top earners are top earners? It’s because they communicate with their prospects. Now, it’s true that they may not do it personally. The top earners have a team of people that have been hired to handle customer support.

That is where you want to be. At the top with people working for you. Get your act together, learn as much as you can and take action!

10 Myths (And The Real Truth) About Network Marketing

10.12.2007

10 Myths You Need To Watch Out For . . .

1. Your Upline will build it for you.
(If your upline will build it, why do they need you?)
I know you have heard this one. I have, over and over again. Fact is, If they are going to build it for you then they really don’t need you. They have as much of
a chance of building as you do.

2. 3-Way calls will enable you to recruit.
A 3-way call does not enable you to recruit. You might learn how your sponsor does it but it does not enable you to do the same. Every one is different and has
their own style of talking and writing. Usually, in a 3-way call, your sponsor is the one doing the recruiting not you.

3. The “system” will do all the work.
(If the system does all the work, why do they need you?)
This one really cracks me up. For real, if the system does all the work then why do they need you? The answer is because there is not any system out on the internet that will do all the work. You still have to work it and you still have to promote it.

4. The Product will sell itself.
(If the product sells itself, why do they need you?)
This one is crazy. I put my bottle of lotion potion out in the open and it didn’t sell! The product will not sell itself. It still needs you to do the selling. Even if it is a good product, you need to tell someone how good it really is.

5. The product doesn’t matter – it’s the compensation plan!
Don’t believe this for one minute. The product is more important! People want a good product or service, if you don’t have something the is good and a great benefit to them, they will not purchase from you. The compensation plan means nothing if people are not joining you because you have a lousy product!

6. All you need is your warm market.
Forget about friends and family. To be honest, your warm market is getting tired of seeing all your new business opportunities. Your warm market may be small and you will not make much money that way. Start marketing to you cold market.

7. You can make BIG BUCKS FAST!
I really hate this one. I believed this at first too, and I found out that you are not going to make anything fast. You must first build a relationship with people and once they trust you and the products or services you offer, then and only then will they purchase from you.

8. All you need are “2” people – or “3” or “5” etc…
We keep being told that all we need are….well thats not so.
My impression on these statements are, when I get 2 people then my work is done. Not so, your 2 people may not do anything. You must get a lot of people in your organization to get 2 that will really do some work. That is a hard fact that I
learned about a year ago.

9. You can buy your way to Success.
(Or you don’t need ANY money!)
If you thought that giving someone thousands of dollars will make you a success, think again. The only one that got successful is the person you paid. People make this mistake every single day. What you want to pay for is a good coach to teach you what you need to know. If you think you don’t need money to get success
again, you need to think. Internet marketing is no different that having a business off line. It is less expensive but you still need tools, skills, products, and you may even need to hire someone else to help you. Nothing is FREE!

10. Your MLM company is the BEST in the history of the world!
Never believe that a specific company is the best in the history of the world or internet marketing world. The are some wonderful companies out there, buy you must do your homework and research anything that you are anticipating joining. I think every ad I see says that their company is the best. Don’t let that be your
deciding factor. Talk to other people in the company and see what their true views are.

YOU – Are The Most Important Factor in Your Business!!

7 Strategies For Letter Writing

10.12.2007
10:18

Use these 7 strategies when you write e-mails or even when you write a letter for offline use. They are not new, but they’re VERY effective.

1. Keep your letter Short and To The Point.
A typical letter page will hold 350 to 450 words. Try to
never exceed that amount of words or you take the risk of
losing your readers. Your letters should be concise, factual,
and focused. They need to speak from your heart.

2. Outlining Your Letter Will Keep It Clear, Concise, and Logical
Before you start writing your letter make a brief point form outline. Then you need to organize those points into a logical progression; what comes first and then next for example. A simple outline format is: introduction and purpose of the letter, background and explanation, and then the summary and conclusion. All your letters need these components.

3. Focus On The Needs Of Your Recipient
What information do your recipients need? If you are sending out letters to a group of people that are interested in what’s on sale at your tire store, then don’t send them information on sale items at the local candy store. Stay focused and you will keep your recipients reading your letters.

4. Appropriate Language Is A Must
Do not use technical terms and acronyms without explaining them to your recipients. Use simple straight forward language, for clarity and precision.

5. Use Short Sentences and Paragraphs
A paragraph should not exceed two or three sentences. It makes the letter more readable. Keep your sentences as short as possible and break the text into short paragraphs.

6. Review and Revise
After you have finished your letter read it out loud and see if it flows. A letter that does not make sense will cause your readers to toss it aside. Get the help of
a friend or associate to proofread your letter.

7. Check Spelling and Grammar.
Always check and recheck your spelling and grammar. Run the final letter through a spelling and grammar checker. Your readers will be inclined to not read your letters if they are sloppy.
